San Diego Fire Systems Company Offers Advice on Testing Fire Alarms
Wednesday, August 5, 2009— PLACENTIA, CALIFORNIA — Businesses throughout California install fire alarm and fire suppression systems in their buildings and hope that they never have to use them.
Although the likelihood of experiencing a fire are slim, it is a good idea to test fire alarm systems on a routine basis to ensure they operate properly in the event that there is a fire, said Massoud Farazandeh, general manager of Nationwide Fire Protection Corp., an affiliate of American Professional Services (APS-Hoods).
Nationwide Fire Protection Corp. has provided San Diego fire systems service and installation from its Denver headquarters since the company began in 1989.
