Six Reasons to Upgrade Your San Jose Fire Protection System

Filed under: News — Tags: San Jose fire protection jobs, San Jose fire protection systems, San Jose fire systems — Massoud Farazandeh @ 9:13 pm

PLACENTIA, CALIFORNIA— Nationwide Fire Protection Corp. recently encountered a great deal of San Jose  fire protection systems clients that have outdated systems.

Because of that, Massoud Farazandeh, general manager of Nationwide Fire Protection Corp., which provides San Jose fire systems service for restaurants, as well as fire protection services throughout California, has created a list of six reasons restaurants should upgrade their systems now.

  • he law demands it. UL 300 took effect in 1994, which outlines improved testing requirements.
  • UL 300 systems discharge only onto protected equipment, which saves on cleanup costs in the event the system is used.
  • Manufacturers have ceased making dry chemical systems for restaurants.
  • More fire equipment distributors won’t work on dry systems in restaurants, due to the liability involved with working on old, outdated systems without manufacturer support.
  • Business depends on it. Most restaurants don’t have the luxury of being able to shut down for days or weeks for cleanup and repair in the event of a fire.
  • For those who call by Dec. 1 and mention this press release, Nationwide Fire Protection Corp. offers a 10% discount on the upgrade.

“Besides being the law, upgrading to UL 300 standards is good for the customer,” Farazandeh said. “The upgraded systems are easier to use and cost less to clean after they are discharged.”

Now is a good time to do the upgrade, not only because of the special offer, but because fire departments are beginning to crack down on area restaurants that do not meet UL 300 standards, Farazandeh said.

While responding to San Jose fire protection jobs, as well as requests for fire systems service throughout California, Farazandeh has witnessed numerous restaurants that are not up to standard on this important issue. Although the company has serviced businesses throughout the state since it opened in 1989, Farazandeh made the decision to open a satellite location in Placentia in August 2009, due to the growing customer demand.

“Now that we have a storefront in California, we are better able to address clients needs here,” he said. “It was good timing, because many, many restaurants are in need of this UL 300 upgrade and we can do that for them with no down-time on their part.”
