PLACENTIA AND LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA— Regular maintenance and inspections help promote fire safety in commercial kitchens, and one Los Angeles fire protection company says it’s just as important to do this for idle kitchens.

Los Angeles Fire Protection Company Observes National Fire Prevention Week

BAY AREA, LOS ANGELES AND PLACENTIA, CALIFORNIA— Nationwide Fire Protection Corp., a Placentia and Los Angeles fire protection company, is observing National Fire Protection Week Oct. 3-9 by sharing information on fire protection with potential and current clients.

National Fire Prevention Week is sponsored by the National Fire Protection Association and is observed annually in October, said NFP’s general manager, Massoud Farazandeh, a fire detection system expert.

It has been observed since 1922 on the Sunday through Saturday in which Oct. 9 falls each year, according to information posted on NFPA’s website. The observance was established to commemorate the Great Chicago Fire, which began on Oct. 8, 1871, but did most of its damage the following day. The fire killed more than 250 people, left 100,000 homeless, destroyed more than 17,400 structures and burned more than 2,000 acres. (more…)

Los Angeles Fire Protection Company Gives Tips for Hiring a Qualified Inspector

LOS ANGELES AND PLACENTIA, CALIFORNIA— Nationwide Fire Protection Corp. is offering several tips restaurant owners and managers can follow when seeking an expert to perform routine fire suppression system inspections.

Many restaurants have systems that are not up to code and may not provide adequate protection in the event of a fire, said Massoud Farazandeh, general manager of Nationwide Fire Protection Corp., an affiliate of American Professional Services (APS-Hoods). NFP opened a fabrication facility in Placentia in 2009 to better meet the demand for Los Angeles fire protection work.

LOS ANGELES AND PLACENTIA, CALIFORNIA— Nationwide Fire Protection Corp. has released its list of five worst fire hazards, along with tips for preventing them.

“We encounter a great many potentially dangerous hazards in restaurants and commercial kitchens on an almost daily basis,” said Massoud Farazandeh, general manager of Nationwide Fire Protection Corp., a Denver and Los Angeles fire protection company.

Customer Demand Prompts Los Angeles Fire Protection Company to Extend Holiday Hours

PLACENTIA, CALIFORNIA— Nationwide Fire Protection Corp. will extend its holiday hours this month in an effort to accommodate the increased demand for Los Angeles fire protection services.

The company typically closes for two weeks in December, but will remain open every day except Christmas day, said Massoud Farazandeh, general manager of Nationwide Fire Protection Corp.

“We’re keeping the doors open due to customer demand,” said Farazandeh, of the Los Angeles fire alarm systems company.

Nationwide Fire Protection Corp. is headquartered in Denver, Colorado and opened a fabrication facility in Placentia, California in August to better address the needs of a growing California market, he said. (more…)

PLACENTIA, CALIFORNIA— Nationwide Fire Protection Corp., a Los Angeles fire protection company, announces that it will not charge travel fees to customers located within a 35-mile radius of the company’s Placentia, CA satellite location.
